No, there is absolutely no lock-in period. Your gold is completely liquid — you can buy and sell it any time you want. While we recommend holding gold for the long term (3–5 years) for best returns, you are never required to. Digital gold gains are taxed as capital gains. If held for under 3 years: Short-Term Capital Gains (STCG) are taxed at your applicable income tax slab rate. If held for 3+ years: Long-Term Capital Gains (LTCG) are taxed at 20% with indexation benefit. No TDS is deducted on gains. KYC verification typically takes 2–5 minutes for most users if your Aadhaar and PAN details are correct and your selfie is clear. In rare cases where manual review is required, it may take up to 24 hours. You can still browse the platform and set up your investment preferences while KYC is pending.

KYC rejections usually happen due to blurry documents, name mismatch between Aadhaar and PAN, or a poor selfie. You'll receive a detailed rejection reason via email and SMS. To change your mobile number or email, go to Account Settings → Profile → Edit Contact Details. You'll need to verify both your old and new contact details via OTP. For security, if you've made a recent transaction, there's a 48-hour cooling period before contact details can be changed. Contact support if you've lost access to your old number.

No. As per SEBI and Income Tax regulations, one PAN card can be linked to only one AuruM Gold account. If you accidentally created two accounts, please contact our support team immediately at support@aurum.gold and we'll help you merge them and retain all your gold holdings in one consolidated account.

To delete your account, first sell all your gold holdings and withdraw all funds to your bank account. Then go to Account Settings → Account Management → Close Account. You'll receive a confirmation email with next steps. Account data is retained for 7 years as per SEBI regulations, but your access will be revoked immediately upon closure.

We accept all major payment methods: UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), Net Banking (all major banks), Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard — 2% surcharge applies), and NEFT/RTGS for large transfers (₹10 lakh+). All payments are processed securely through Razorpay's PCI-DSS certified gateway.

Absolutely zero hidden charges. We charge a small annual management fee of 0.5% per annum, which is already reflected in the gold price displayed. There are no account maintenance charges, no entry loads, no exit loads, and no charges on regular payouts. The only separate charge is delivery charges if you request physical gold delivery (clearly shown before confirmation).

Payment failures with deductions are very rare and usually auto-resolved within 3–5 business days as banks reverse the amount. If your amount hasn't been refunded in 5 days, please raise a ticket via our Help Center with your transaction ID, date, amount, and bank name. Our payments team resolves such cases within 24 hours.

For KYC-completed accounts: daily investment limit is ₹10 lakh via UPI, ₹50 lakh via Net Banking, and no limit via NEFT/RTGS. For premium KanakA plan members: limits are higher and can be further increased upon request. The limits are in place for regulatory compliance, not to restrict your investments.

Yes. A GST-compliant invoice is automatically generated and emailed to you after every gold purchase. You can also download all invoices from your Account → Transaction History → Download Invoice. The applicable GST rate on gold purchases is 3% (included in the transaction total).

We deliver BIS hallmarked 24K gold coins (1g, 5g, 10g) and bars (50g, 100g) directly to your doorstep. Delivery is available at 18,000+ pin codes across India via insured shipping. Delivery typically takes 5–7 business days.
